About

The 2026 edition of the APHCC will be held on December 9-10, 2026, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual participation options.

Welcome Message from the APHCC 2026 Co-Chairs

Dear Pathologists, Technologists, and Esteemed Colleagues,

It is our distinct privilege and great pleasure to welcome you to APHCC 2026, the Anatomic Pathology and Histo-Cytotechniques Conference, in the vibrant city of Jeddah.

The Saudi Society for Laboratory Medicine (SSLM) and the Saudi Society of Cytotechnology and Histotechnology (SSCH) are proud to partner together in hosting this essential scientific gathering. As we convene for this edition, we are reminded that the progress of our profession is built not only on scientific discovery and technological advancement, but also on the remarkable people who share their knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaborate toward a common goal: achieving excellence in patient care.

Since the launch of APHCC in 2024, this conference has grown significantly as a premier platform for professional collaboration and diagnostic excellence. This year, we have designed a comprehensive program spanning cytopathology, anatomic pathology, cytotechniques, histotechniques, molecular pathology, precision diagnostics, digital pathology, artificial intelligence, and leadership in laboratory medicine. Each edition represents another milestone in our collective journey to strengthen these vital disciplines and expand opportunities for education and professional development across the Kingdom and beyond.

To our distinguished speakers and invited experts, thank you for sharing your invaluable knowledge and experience. To our sponsors and exhibitors, we extend our gratitude for supporting scientific exchange and connecting our community with the innovative technologies and solutions shaping the future of pathology. And to every attendee joining us—whether you are an experienced specialist, a laboratory professional, a researcher, or a student—your active participation adds immense value to this gathering.

We encourage you to make the most of these two days. Engage deeply in the scientific sessions, exchange perspectives with your peers, explore emerging technologies, and build professional connections that will continue well beyond the conference. Let us use this opportunity not simply to discuss what is changing in our fields, but to actively help shape what comes next.

May APHCC 2026 strengthen our partnerships, inspire new initiatives, and reinforce our shared commitment to advancing laboratory medicine and pathology in Saudi Arabia and internationally. We look forward to welcoming you to Jeddah for a truly rewarding, meaningful, and inspiring scientific experience.

With our warmest regards,

Prof. Zuhier Awan
